OUR HERITAGE       BACK TO THE FUTURE

We breed the best Irish upland bird dogs, moving functionally toward the Irish articulated breed standard. We have sought out stock deeply rooted in the old hunting lines of the finest Irish Red and White Setters as they appear in the most respected current lines and kennels in Ireland and throughout the world.

We will be forever grateful to our Irish mentors and consultants, beginning with Mrs. Maureen Cuddy, then Father Doherty, and to those who continue to guide and provide insight for our project, including Vincent and Catherine Brennan, Maureen Daly, and Mrs. Ann Miller.

We were truly honored to have been asked to send back one of our pups to Ireland.
O'Dobhailien "Aengus" For Mizen arrived safely to the loving arms of Ann Miller.
We were hopeful that Aengus could help with the future of Ireland's IRWS gene pool.
Aengus was bred to Mizen Ceili Cairbre and two of their sons are
Champions: SP CH Mizen Adain and IR CH Mizen Adair.
